The Open Spaces Art organisation was set up to implement an contemporary art vision for the old school building in Feutersoey bei Gstaad, in the Bernese Highlands in Switzerland. The vision includes artist studios for local artists, and studios and living space for resident artists who come as part of the Open Spaces Art Residency Programme.

The Bridge & Falls Residency supports professional artists, emerging artists, and creative minds who wish to undertake one-week long, self-guided residencies in Nestor Falls, Ontario and Sioux Narrows, Ontario. The Township of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls is wholly committed to shapeshifting ideas & conversation through a lens that is focused on arts and culture. Strengthening community and building capacity is at the heart of the Bridge & Falls Cultural Series.

The programme offers the opportunity for an artist based in Europe and the Mediterranean whose main practice is photography focused to spend two weeks in June 2017 in Kavala, Greece. It is free to apply and the selected artist will have the opportunity to live and work in the coastal city in the north of Greece with transportation, accommodation and subsistence covered.

The activities will be carried out in accordance with a project, taking into account previous demands and necessities.

Archaeology of the Frivolous is a fully immersive, interactive lecture series and week long residency in the Chihuahuan Desert in Marfa, TX. Led by practitioners in the sciences and arts through various aspects and extremities of the landscape, we will participate in arituals, performances, film series, lectures, concerts, and deep observation of our surroundings and their interaction with the passage of time – geologically and astronomically.
