Montello Foundation (United States)
The Montello Foundation provides a solitary retreat where artists can experience the vastness of a desert landscape from a safe building, a “base camp,” a unique space for inspiration and creation, a place that provides a shield from distractions in the solitude of the desert. A building designed with a large shading roof under which there are two distinct spaces: one space for the bodily needs: eating; sleeping; washing, and a stove for the cold desert nights, and a second space for work: for writing; painting; drawing; studying, a space for the first materializations of new ideas.
RESIDENCY 108 (United States)
Residency 108 is an arts organization that supports month long residencies for a diverse group of artists and thinkers who have an interest in engaging in art and ecology. The program takes place on 108 acres in Hudson Valley. Residency 108 invites emerging and established artists, writers and thinkers of all disciplines to immerse themselves in their creative practice.
QUEENS Collective (Morocco)
The QUEENS COLLECTIVE is a community art space in Marrakech, Morocco, where creation can blossom through the collective mind. Queens Collective is a multidisciplinary platform for emerging and established, international and local artists and a physical space where its members live, create and present their work. The framework of Queens Collective is created by the members and is in constant flux.
A7ROOMS is situated in Banska Bystrica, central Slovakia. Its aim is to provide conditions and support for creative work of visual artists from around the world. We offer accommodation, atelier and exhibition space. We provide promotion and publicity, guidance through local art scene and at the end of the residency we organise the exhibition.
Stiwdio Maelor (United Kingdom)
Stiwdio Maelor is Artist Residency in Wales, UK. It has been established as a place where artists can focus on their work, meet other artists, and experience a new environment and community. Stiwdio Maelor provides accommodation and workspace in a small Welsh village in the Snowdonia National Park. Artists are provided with a studio and adjoining bedroom, shared kitchen, bathroom and dining/common room in a large house the centre of the village of Corris, Wales.
D´Arts et de rêves (Canada)
D’Arts et de rêves was founded by a writer, a sculptor and a circus artist who wanted to give artists of those disciplines the opportunity to create and research in a beautiful inspiring environment. They renovated a barn dated from the last century situated in a seven acre park. They surrounded themselves with professional people from the three disciplines to form a non-profit organization focused on its nature culture vocation.
Hidden Creek Arts and Ecology Centre (Canada)
The Artist in Residence program at Hidden Creek is new program offered in the Interior of British Columbia. It is a sustainably built straw bale residence and studio with an additional yurt on the property. It is built by artists who wanted to provide an inspiring space and setting for other creative types. The Centre holds workshops, gatherings and residencies. The beauty of the Selkirk mountains, Kootenay Lake and the diverse wildlife, provide endless inspiration to infuse daily creativity.

SEA Foundation is a not-for-profit, artist-led organization, located in the city centre of Tilburg. We present an international programme of contemporary art and multi-disciplinary events. SEA Foundation offers hospitality in art and operates as an alternative model of working, in which artists can think, debate and make, without defined outcomes and in response to individual needs.from 2013 we also run an Artist in Residence programme.
