PANAL 361 (Argentina)

RAP/Residencias de Arte Panal is PANAL 361´s core program. The art residency program has different modalities for young artists, curators and creative people who aim to develop a specific project and enrich their own artistic and creative worlds by taking part in artistic residencies in the city of Buenos Aires with base at PANAL 361. Over the past 5 years we have made partnerships with more than 21 institutions in 17 countries from America, Europe and Asia. 

Event Horizon (Greece)
Event Horizon

Event Horizon is a Crete based building for the arts, music and literature. A rural retreat for production and experimentation. This opportunity offers creative space free of charge, it is set in five acres of stunningly beautiful wild olive groves close to the sea. The building is created from used shipping containers and is completely insulated. There is free and rented accommodation on offer as part of Event Horizon: an on-site mini-caravan and a stylish cabin (subsidised bursaries) an off-site Gypsy Caravan in Fourni Village (2km) The Architect´s House and a Windmill in Neapolis Town (7km). – A Deep Work Retreat in the Czech mountains (Czech Republic) – A Deep Work Retreat in the Czech mountains

We are renting our house with a garden to creative people, who need a place for their deep work and quiet concentration. If you are writing a book, pivoting your startup, painting or developing a new app, let this be your sanctuary. And if you need a rest, you may take a walk or hike, relax in the local spa, dine in the nearby pub or brewery, all within 10 minutes on foot. The house has a high-security main entrance and windows, high-speed 30 Mbps WiFi, height adjustable tables and accommodates up to 8 people with everything necessary to work without distraction for weeks or even months.

The Canadian Wilderness Artist Residency connects artists of all mediums with the
natural and cultural landscape of northern Canada through expedition, personal
journey and community engagement. By offering an experience in the emotive landscapes of the country we aim to expand the space within each artist for contemplation, inspiration and creativity, while physically drawing closer members of the Canadian cultural & arts communities.

Kristinestad Artists´ Residency (Finland)
Kristinestad Artists´ Residency

Artist and community run residency programme open to artists and creatives from all disciplines. Selection is made on the basis of a project proposal. Both individual and community projects are possible, and there are opportunities of working with local schools and associations. Inspiration can be sought in in the picturesque environment of the old wooden town of Kristinestad, local traditions in woodwork and carpentry, architecture, textiles and music; in the Nordic natural and cultural environment, slowness and retreat.

The unique approach of this residency program is its holistic support of each artist, and its commitment to supporting and promoting those whose work and practices relate to and further specific ideas. Residencies are tailored to each artist’s current and desired creative discipline, career goals, relationships, health, and joy, and hold these factors as foundational, interdependent, synergistic, and critical to every individual’s overall well-being.

Rock Factory Print Studio (United Kingdom)

Creatives can take the opportunity to use the unique environment of Blackpool as a base to explore and create work based on the UK’s most popular seaside resort. Your residency can be totally self-steered or you can take the opportunity to work alongside artists who work out of the Rock Factory. You will have access to the Rock Factory screen print studio for the duration of your stay. The studio has 2 vacuum pump Kippax screen printing beds, an exposing unit for burning images onto screens, wash out and cleaning facilities, drying racks, and a dark room for screen coating.

We´ve created a space for environmental artists who, while visiting Montenegro get inspired by it´s natural beauty, and they explore environmental art working and develop their skills close to the nature and as a part of it. We are looking to work with visual and video artists, film makers, photographers, writers, musicians as well as fashion and graphic designers, multimedia artists, with special interest in biomimicry kinetic artists/architects. As a part of the residence we also exhibit our artist’s work in collaboration with our partners, the Faculty for Visual Arts, part of the University of Montenegro.
