Description of residency program
Peghera is a small village in the heart of the stunning Taleggio Valley, north of Bergamo and Milan.

Duration of residency
The residency, which runs for four weeks in July, offers artists the opportunity to explore this beautiful territory and the traditions of the region by providing  housing in the village and a shared studio space in the local museum. There are plenty of hiking trails and neighbouring villages, each one unique, to explore. The town of San Pellegrino, home ot the famous bottled water, is a short drive away. Famous for its cheese, Peghera holds its annual Taleggio cheese festival in July.

Disciplines, work equipment and assistance
The residency has an open program, but artists working with themes of food, the environment, social and/or sustainable practices are encouraged to apply.
