Our network has over 600 members - organisations, associations, institutions, museums, artist-run spaces and individuals - all of whom are involved in the field of artist residencies and international exchange programs.
These members pay annualy dues to the network to help support the services and projects of the network itself.
In return, our members receive the benefits of the support, services, and networking opportunities that Res Artis provides.
There are three different types of Res Artis Members:
1) Residency Members
2) Associate Members
3) Individual Members
(click to read more about the requirements, fees and benefits of each)
The process of joining is quite simple.
Please read over the information in Join Res Artis
Res Artis membership is based on the calendar year from Jan 1st to Dec 31st.
Membership renewals are sent out once a year during the end of December and before the new membership period starts.
Associate Members pay a yearly membership fee of € 375
Individual Members pay a yearly membership fee of € 75
Residency Members pay dues according to their organisation's budget.
The membership fee should be based on the entire costs of the organisation (expenses for staff, rent of building, equipment, utilities etc.) that you account for over the span of one year.
This also include costs that are covered through in-kind income. Artist residencies that also develop other activities should include those costs for calculating their budget as well. Only in case your residency is part of a larger structure like a museum or university you can calculate it based on the residency budget only. However also in that case all in-kind income should be accounted for.
