Bubo Arts Collective

General information

Brief description of organisation

Bubo Arts Collective will be open to a small number of visual artists at a time, both emerging and professional. Artists will be able to create their own residency experience, be it working alone in a private studio space or collaborating with fellow residents and local artists.

In addition to the residency program, there will also be a classroom space and a combined gallery/retail space, both of which can be used by visiting and local artists alike. Bubo Arts Collective will be an exciting and unique center where art is made, seen, and discussed, and where artists from up the street and across the world can meet and create.

Brief description of residency program

Bubo Arts Collective will be a unique, multi-purposed art center with a focus on its artist-in-residency program, designed to bring together international and local artists in an atmosphere that is welcoming, communal, and exciting.

Bubo Arts hopes to have a physical location and be up and running soon.

Thank you to everyone who has been sending us applications, even though we do not physically exist yet! We will keep you posted on our progress.

Please visit our website at buboarts.org for more information, and find us on Facebook to follow our progress.
