Brief description of residency program

Artists in an Olivegarden residency in France offers an idyllic and quiet retreat in an old and freshly charming farmhouse near the old town of Arles.

Arles has become an insider arts hotspot in recent years, hosting events such as „Les rencontres de la Photographie“, exciting cultural and musical festivals, museums, galleries and the „Parc des Ateliers“.

Artists in an Olivegarden in Arles (F) has been created for international artists who are looking to produce new work, to write, curate and/or conduct arts-research. It will give artists time, space, freedom and inspiration to explore their ideas in a quite neighborhood inside a beautiful olive garden setting with loads of place to work and reflect.

It brings together contemporary artists, curators and researchers from around the world together to live and work together for a short while and have the opportunity to be inspired by each other and network with the art community in Arles.
