Spring 2013 Internationational AIR | MAC, A Coruña, Spain

With a clear intention to increase its international activity, and maintaining its vocation to support the creators and encourage artistic production, the Gas Natural Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art launched in January 2012 the International Artist Residencies Program in order to complement and extend the museum’s Artistic Creation Grants -in operation since 1989- and the Local Artist Residencies Program.

These three programs together, represent our museum’s strong commitment with research, innovation and appreciation of the value of creative processes within the artistic field.

Within the established framework of its Cultural Promotion and Cooperation Plan, the MAC initiates a selection process for 2 international artists’ residencies aimed at developing projects of artistic research from 1st May to 30th June 2013.
