Information of the residency program
We are looking for artists who would like to both live and work in the gallery/studio space of Listhus. This allows for a closer connection to one’s working process, with a larger than usual working space. Essentially half the Listhus main residency building will be put at the disposal of an individual or artist team. Ample living space provided within the Listhus studio with a very large working space within the Listhus gallery. The project aims at providing exhibition and working space for artists doing experiments that they cannot implement elsewhere. Applicants should propose a public art project that is fully utilizes the Listhus gallery, such as hosting seminars or workshops, performances, exhibitions, etc. Projects should ideally be designed for involving the public and/or having the potential to attract the public to the gallery. The gallery should be open for the public 6-12 hours a week.
