Brief description of organisation
Centro Selva Arte y Ciencia is a Peruvian center promoting projects, studies and training in the arts and sciences in the Central Amazon region. Situated on the farmlands of the company Margenes del Bosque, the center is in the Amazonian tropical rain forest of Eastern Peru.

Brief description of residency program
Centro Selva’s international group artist in residence program is a residency structures to provide a broad view of the amazon region to national and international artists, from native Shipibo Conibo art and traditions to contemporary art practices, from rural sustainable farming to an urban multicultural amazon city, from un touched forest arias to reforested productive forests, etc.  Situated in the context of a family farm this artist in residence experience tries to help al its participants to explore different possibilities in the context of the amazon region. Giving local artists and community in general the opportunity of culturally benefiting from the visiting resident artist threw the open to public artists talks, exhibition at the end of the residency period and suggested workshops or other projects.
