Description of residency program
The Lemon Tree House is a residency program designed to encourage the creative, intellectual and personal growth of emerging and established artists, musicians and writers. The aim is to support creative process in a unique and historically rich environment, to allow devoted time to creative work, and to provide interesting opportunities for cultural exchange and development. Whether you need that quiet time to complete a project, or hope to launch a new idea, The Lemon Tree House Residency is a perfect way to explore the creative process.

Disciplines, work equipment and assistance
The Lemon Tree House Residency is held at the Camporsevoli estate in the Cetona foothills of southern Tuscany. The two-week program incorporates solo work time with the guidance of visiting Artist and Writers in Residence, cocktails and nightly dinners, and a little pampering along the way. Surround yourself with other creative people in a most majestic and inspiring environment.

Whether you need that quiet time to complete a project, or hope to launch a new idea, The Lemon Tree House Residency is a perfect way to explore the creative process. Two full weeks of isolated artistic time with the benefit of one-on-one sessions with in-house instructors and international authors & artists, conversational exchange with fellow attendees, nightly cocktail hour and three course dinner or just a quiet, beautiful space to get away and focus. At The Lemon Tree House there is plenty of solitude in which to work, with the benefits of like-minded company in what we know can sometimes be a rather isolating pursuit. Past guest lecturers includes Giller-nominated Sarah Selecky, Italian author Pietro Grossi, painters Sarah Cale, Ryley O'Byrne and Christian Gosselin, New York Times best seller Ibi Kaslik, prize-winning writer Rosa Rankin-Gee of "The Last Kings Of Sark", writer and comic artist Nadja Spiegelman, award-winning author Pasha Malla and Lemon Tree House's own Erinn Beth Langille.

Accommodation
Accommodations are private rooms in shared villas. 

Studio/ workspace
Depending on requirements the private bedrooms are either live/work (as in the case of writers) or paired with additional shared studio space (for fine arts practitioners). The Lemon Tree House cannot support artists who require a private studios, sound-proof quarters or specialized equipment. We can support work that takes place out of doors, in shared space, in domestic space, and by creative producers who can bring their own equipment and materials. 

Fees and support
The cost of the residency is 2600€ 

Expectations towards the artist
No formal requirements for the artist.
