Open Call for Printmaking Residencies 2019

Design a Unique Residency just for you.

Description of residency program
Our Residencies are designed to fit an artist’s unique needs and desires. The core of the Residency is a prolonged time to work in our green printmaking studio. In addition an artist can add workshops, personalized instruction, and individualized critique to their residency experience. It can be a time of learning and experimenting, or editioning or the execution of a pre-conceived project. We hope to establish lasting relationships and invite our residency artists to return to Zea Mays Printmaking throughout their careers.

Disciplines, work equipment and assistance
Zea Mays Printmaking is one of the premier green studios in the USA. Housed in a late 19th century brick factory building in a sleepy section of Northampton, Massachusetts, our studio comprises 6000 sq. feet of  cutting-edge studio, research center, educational institution and artist community. We strive to create an environment that is both professional and personal with great respect for the creative process of each artist.  Residencies at Zea Mays Printmaking provide artists an opportunity to learn the latest developments in safer and non-toxic printmaking.
