What the Stones Hide

The residency’s project is to rescue our own memories.

This residency is intended for artist to look through surroundings of Anima for stones -as  an archeology to memory- where the found object (a stone) tells us a story, either because of the memories that could be produced by the touch or by a creating a story that resembles a memory. The residency’s project is to rescue our own memories, those which might be almost gone as well as our collective memory of storytelling for a lasting lesson to pass onto future generations.

Expectations towards the artist
Artists are encouraged to donate a piece made on-site to the ANIMA archive or create a piece that will be exhibited in the annual Anima art exhibition.
