You can apply for:

If you are an active artist, designer, musician and writer, you can
apply for one, two or three months at our Tapir studios!
We are a small mainly family run project (not a big institution!) started as a gallery in 2003 and is now a residency project (Takt) with a gallery: (Kunstraum Tapir) where we offer 10 studios to live and work.
Our project with the gallery Kunstraum Tapir is situated at Weserstrasse 11, very central in Berlin Friedrichshain, on the corner to Müggelstrasse where the two other residency spots are. You need two minutes to visit each others.
The writers residency/ residency for artists with children is at Prenzlauer Berg, a very beautiful and friendly area.
We offer:
10 Residency spaces (live and work studios),
one writers residency
(live and work but only desk work) or residency for artists with children
a residency program with artist talks, events and a final group show
**All of our studios are street level at a very quiet back streets.

There are no deadlines, after selection we get in touch with you as
soon as possible.

Next to our gallery //kunstraum tapir// is the
shared studio space mainly.
Attached there is a bathroom and kitchen next to the gallery. The space has two separate entrances which provides privacy and peace.
Residency M6 is a space with three live and work studios, a shared kitchen and bathroom
Residency M14 is again a space with three live and work studios with shared kitchen and bathroom (toilet is seperate)
The fourth studio is our office.
writers residency is a two room apartment at Prenzlauer Berg for one artist (no studio use for material work!), kitchen bathroom, very quiet, beautiful area!
This also a possibility for artists (doing non material work) with children to stay!
