Summer Public Art Call For Artists

We want to be visible, out there, in the street, in real time. Interventions, street art, performance, art in alternative or public spaces. WE.ARE.HERE.

We want to connect likeminds through time and place at our residency. We are calling for contemporary, street, live art and public artists to apply for the focused residency period June, July, August and/or September 2013.

We will focus on art in public space, or engaged practice. These months are reserved now for artists that are interested in working with ideas of public, private, ephemerality, permanence, performance/liveness, urban art, or intervention works. We are going public, and we are visible.

We.Are.Here. In 24 hour daylight. In the periphery. In remoteness. In Iceland. In Summer. On an island. Surrounded by volcanoes, glaciers, lava fields, and mountains. By the sea, and busting out.
