Indie Musician´s BootCamp

Demystifying the music industry and providing space for creative collaboration and composition.

This two-week themed residency is intended to empower independent musical artists to better navigate the music industry, and to offer an opportunity to create new musical works in a remote, tranquil island environment amongst other members of the broader musical community.
The residency is appropriate for both groups and individuals, with no limitations on musical genre or tradition.  Ample opportunity will be afforded to develop and work through music throughout the days, collaborate, and share and receive feedback from other residents and facilitators.
The residency will be supplemented by workshops intended to orient residents to various aspects of the music industry, including, but not limited to:

  •          Approaches and strategies for releasing independent music
  •          Building an online presence, and utilizing public relations and publicity
  •          Innovative marketing strategies on a budget
  •          Grant writing and other fundraising strategies
  •          Tour booking and show promotion
