Artist Residency - Germany.

Description of residency program
This self-directed artist residency is located directly on the tranquil Havel River in rural Germany . The space is located approximately 50 miles from Berlin and offers the artist an abundance of natural beauty to stimulate the plein air painting experience.

Duration of residency
At this facility, Annex:art offers self-directred artist residencies for periods of 2 weeks to 1 month subject to availability.

There facilities offer artists the opportunity to escape the hectic pace of urban living while relaxing and creating admidst the scenic vistas surrounding the artist compound.  Sleeping areas are seperate but other amenities are shared with other artists.

The amenities at Kleindorf-Art are varied and provide each artist with the choice of having his/her own private living work space or that of a shared communal studio and dormitory like accommodations.

Disciplines, work equipment and assistance
The facilities are basic and offer the artist with ample room to spread out and work on his/her submitted project. This is a self-directed residency, therefore, the artist will be responsible for providing any material, equipment or specialty items needed to complete their work.  

The program is open to creative individuals working in any genre, including visual art, music and literature.

Fees and support
The fees are published on our website.  The organizer will assist the artist with obtaining logistical information where needed.

Expectations towards the artist
Completion of the work as described in the artist's submitted proposal
