Dos Mares invites one french visual artist for a 6-weeks residency in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Description of residency program
With the collaboration of Ville de Marseille, La Ira de Dios - Argentina and Transverso Art Fondation, Dos Mares invites 1 visual artist for a 6-weeks residency in Buenos Aires Argentina between April 17 until May 28, 2017.
Duration of residency
Disciplines, work equipment and assistance
Only visual artists may apply, due is a research residency, no production budget will be given. The artist will work with 10 other interantional artists in a collective workshop in downtown Buenos Aires and will receive assistance of the curator in residence and the directors of La Ira de Dios.
The artist will be accomodated in a private room in a flat close to the workshop.
Shared workshop with other artists.
Fees and support
Dos Mares covers airfare Marseille-Buenos Aires - Marseille, housing and workshop.
Expectations towards the artist
The artist must have french nationality and have to speak spanish or english, be part of the meetings with other artists and be present during the open studio sessions at the end of the residency.

Dos Mares is a French non-profit organization based in Marseille, working mainly with Latin American artists in France. It was founded and is directed by Ronald Reyes-Sevilla, Costa Rican visual artist settled in France in 2013.
